Our organization is built on the principles of respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring that both our patients and team members thrive. We recognize the importance of fostering an inclusive and positive workplace, where every associate feels valued and empowered. Our mission emphasizes the significance of treating our patients with compassion and delivering exceptional care through education, innovation, and ongoing research.

Work Environment

Our outpatient clinic in Orlando is designed to create a comfortable and therapeutic atmosphere, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and the latest rehabilitation technology. The clinic promotes a collaborative spirit, where our skilled professionals work together to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Your role will involve interacting with a diverse patient population, ranging from post-operative recovery to sports rehabilitation, allowing you to apply a variety of treatment protocols tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations, which include reviewing patient history, performing assessments, and formulating effective treatment plans based on findings.
  • Engage with patients and their families during the evaluation process, clearly explaining findings and involving them in setting actionable therapeutic goals.
  • Implement customized treatment protocols utilizing advanced techniques and modalities that reflect current best practices and patient responsiveness.
  • Maintain consistency in patient documentation and adhere to safety regulations while identifying changes in patient conditions that necessitate modifications to treatment plans.
  • Ensure timely discharge planning and thorough follow-up care, documenting each stage of the patient’s progress accurately, from initial evaluations to discharge notes.
  • Manage daily schedules effectively, demonstrating punctuality and organization in both therapy sessions and meetings, while also participating in community outreach initiatives.
  • Contribute to departmental objectives by engaging in performance assessments, quality improvement projects, and compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Take proactive steps for professional development by pursuing continuing education opportunities while fostering a culture of learning within the team.
  • Strive to enhance customer experiences by promoting accessibility to care and engaging in activities that reduce barriers for patients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The outpatient clinic serves a diverse demographic in the Orlando area, catering to a wide range of conditions such as orthopedic injuries, sports-related rehabilitation, geriatric care, and post-surgical recovery. Your role will be pivotal in delivering personalized therapy interventions that empower patients to regain mobility, reduce pain, and achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist, as required by Florida state regulations.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
  • Commitment to professional growth and a willingness to embrace a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and team members alike.
Preferred Experience
  • While prior work experience is not a requirement, any background in outpatient therapy settings is advantageous.
  • Experience with therapeutic modalities, exercise prescription, and patient engagement strategies are highly regarded.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill level. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • A supportive atmosphere with health and wellness benefits tailored for our staff.
  • Generous paid time off and holiday leave.
  • Ongoing continuing education opportunities and professional development support.
  • Access to an Employee Health Assistance Fund for additional support.
