Job description

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Joint Commission-certified Inpatient Rehab Facility
    • Certified in Stroke Rehab, Brain Injury Rehab, and Pulmonary Rehab
  • Neuro-focused position - Spinal Cord Injuries, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Stroke, Parkinson's, MS, etc
    • Main referral center for Level I Trauma Center - high-level acuity caseload
    • Some orthopedic cases, including hip fractures, polytrauma, multi-fractures, amputees, etc
  • 5-8's with a 1-hour lunch break and a flexible schedule
    • 1 hour of your day blocked out just for documentation
  • All patient care is 1:1, Evals and Treats last 60 to 90 minutes
  • See 5-6 patients a day - 1 hour blocked out for documentation
  • 3-month mentorship and training program available to new hires under the guidance of an experienced and certified Lead OT.
  • Join a compassionate and caring team of 25 other therapists who focus on supporting each other and seeing patients improve through evidence-based care

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
Full-time permanent Inpatient Rehab position with a focus on the Neuro population. In this setting, you will work 1:1 with patients and will never be required to do group therapy. The team is willing to mentor and train this new hire, and they have a Senior OT with over a decade of Neuro Acute and Inpatient Rehab experience. Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader who truly cares about patient care. We are not looking for an individual who is just looking for their next "job" but someone who wants to invest in a career to help others.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's/Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Passion for Neurological Conditions
  • Inpatient Rehab Experience preferred
  • Desire to be a great clinician - not just find a job
  • H1-B Visa Sponsorship is NOT available
