TRANSPORTATION DISPATCHER
The Gorham School Department has an opening for a Dispatcher to assist in the dispatching of bus drivers to ensure safe, timely transportation of students and assist in the development and maintenance of bus routes. Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining bus routes and managing bus routing software
  • Coordinating communication between the transportation office and school administrative assistants to ensure the safe transportation of all students to school and home again daily
  • Maintain constant communication with bus drivers via two-way radio
  • Assist in daily communications required to operate the transportation program.
  • Assist in coordination of meetings with drivers
  • Perform such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities that may be assigned.

Salary range: $65,000-$70,000
