Job description

Horner amp; Shifrin is seeking a full-time Assistant Regional Manager in our Transportation business unit. This position requires 10+ years of experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
  • Interact and communicate with clients, vendors, and staff of all levels.
  • Maintain and develop strong client relationships.
  • Lead a team to develop engineering plans, specifications, and estimates (PS amp;E).
  • Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations
  • Lead general transportation engineering services for municipal, county, and state agencies.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and feasibility studies.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Critical thinking and analysis
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Proficient in the use of MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer or AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must complete a background check
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
SALARY RANGE:

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
