The Workforce Development Project Manager oversees multiple aspects of training project management, including student recruitment andretention, placement assessment, and logistics. This role will also provide ongoing oversight andreporting on training programs, field audits, quality management, and training deployment. Theindividual hired for this position will aid team members in grant writing, and grantmanagement/compliance.

Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration, and active support of the University's Mission in Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
-Assists in business strategy through industry research and forecasting
-Assists in developing relationships with employers
-Assists in developing new and nurturing current relationships with business associations,
chambers of commerce, and intermediary organizations
-Maintains ongoing relationships with assigned clients
-Maintains relationships with employer partners and intervenes to address job- or training related
challenges experienced by participants, with limited assistance from Senior Project
Managers.
-Customizes sets up and administers placements tests and other tests as determined by
employer, funder, and training needs and requirements.
-Makes informed recommendations to the Director on the design of curricula based on client
needs and requirements as well as feedback from participants and instructors.
-Assists in the creation of instructional materials including assessments, PowerPoint
presentations, workbooks, handouts, instructor's guides, and others are required by client
needs and requirements.
-Deploys training programs at IWE training centers and client facilities and assists in auditing
trainers as required by the Institute's policies and procedures.
-Sets up logistics with clients and trainers for the effective delivery of the assigned training
programs.
-Assists in limited aspects of writing and managing grants for the assigned training programs.
-Works closely with the Support Services team to execute the quality verification procedure on
all documents, training materials, and other training accessories needed to execute training
programs.
-In collaboration with the Senior Project Manager & Director assists in addressing training and
client issues that emerge as training is delivered.
-Works closely with the Support Services team in collecting all necessary documentation for
courses deployed.
-Collaborates with the Project Managers & Director in the creation of reports as required by
funders.
-Assists in the recruiting efforts of projects as needed
-Performs other assigned duties.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Training, and
Development, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or program coordination, or related work experience. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills. MS Project skills are a plus. Knowledge of and experience in workforce education.Ability to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, vendors,clients, and partners.Sensitivity to socially and ethnically diverse communities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Spanish fluency a plus.
