What You'll Do:

  • Support the Chef de Cuisine in delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences
  • Help lead and motivate the kitchen team, fostering a positive, efficient work environment
  • Maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
  • Oversee food preparation to ensure consistency, quality, presentation, and standards are met
  • Ensure stations are properly stocked and ready for peak service periods
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and record-keeping while minimizing waste
  • Assist with food and supply ordering to meet operational needs, on time and within budget
  • Assist with training, coaching, and developing kitchen team members
  • Act as an ambassador for BHC by helping identify and hire great culinary talent

What You Have:

  • 2-3 years culinary experience is required
  • Prior experience in a supervisory kitchen role is an asset
  • Food Safety and WHMIS certification required (we can help you get certified if needed)
  • Knowledge of kitchen training best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying calm under pressure
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Connecting with people and building trusting relationships comes easy to you
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
  • Flexible schedule required
