Responsible for assisting the Head Coach with coaching all aspects of the Throwing events (shot put, discus, hammer, javelin and weight throw) for the track and field programs. Responsible for daily workouts and scheduling. Assist with Recruiting Potential student-athletes.
Job Duties
  • Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the Throwing Events
  • Responsible for completing daily workouts and scheduling
  • Assist with recruiting, evaluation and retention of qualified student-athletes
  • Completes administrative tasks, maintain student athletes statistics
  • Assist with driving students to and from meets and for recruiting
  • Assists with team equipment; academic monitoring; logistics
  • Provide regular feedback on student-athletes progress
  • Assist with Home Meets
Requested Minimum Qualifications
Education:
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
At least 1 year of coaching experience with throwing events or competitive experience as a collegiate athlete is required.
Other Preferences for Consideration
Preferences:
A Master's Degree is preferred.
