We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our IT Department in Dublin, CA. Responsibilities

Systems and Infrastructure Administration

  • Administer, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, cloud services, applications,
  • Manage Microsoft 365 administration, including user accounts, licensing, permissions, security, and related services.
  • Support virtual server infrastructure, backup systems, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Administer network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless networks, VPNs, internet connectivity, and remote locations.
  • Monitor system health, availability, capacity, backups, security alerts, and overall infrastructure performance.

Cybersecurity & Access Management

  • Manage user authentication, access permissions, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Support endpoint security, email security, web filtering, and other cybersecurity platforms.
  • Assist with disaster recovery testing and ensure critical systems can be restored when needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, security, performance, and automation.

Technical Support & End-User Services

  • Troubleshoot escalated hardware, software, networking, application, and connectivity issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to employees while collaborating with other members of the IT team.
  • Assist with helpdesk support as needed.
  • Support office and field technology, including remote jobsite connectivity.

Technology Operations & Vendor Management

  • Maintain and support phone systems, security cameras, physical access control systems, and
  • Coordinate with technology vendors, internet and telecommunications providers, software
  • Assist with software deployments, upgrades, patches, migrations, and new technology implementations.

Document & Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate system documentation, configurations, standard operating procedures, licensing records, and technology inventories.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional systems administration, network administration, IT infrastructure experieince, or comparable experience supporting IT environments in the construction industry.
  • Experience supporting multiple offices, jobsites, or geographically distributed locations.
  • Experience with a variety of enterprise technologies, such as Microsoft 365, VMware, Zerto, Cisco Meraki, UniFi, backup and disaster recovery solutions, cybersecurity platforms, and AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT).
  • Experience supporting enterprise networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and internet connectivity.
  • Experience administering user accounts, permissions, security groups, MFA and access controls.
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools, including ticketing systems and remote monitoring/management (RMM) platforms.
  • Experience supporting VoIP systems, environmental monitoring, or other facilities technology.
  • Familiarity with construction and business applications such as Autodesk, Autodesk Forma, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Planera, HCSS, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with telecommunications carriers, internet service providers, technology vendors, and third-party support partners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with internal and external personnel of all levels.
