Job description

A successful mergers and acquisitions firm that has been in business for over 10 years is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Managing Partner. The firm has offices in Birmingham, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, and Kansas City. The headquarters are in DC located downtown near McPherson Square. The position is hybrid- 4 days in office and 1 day remote (can also work remotely when the principal travels). Occasionally will need to be in the office 5 days. The culture is driven and remains affable.

About the Job:

♦ Be part of strategic planning and execution

♦ Vet and prioritize the MP’s emails and draft responses

♦ Be the conduit for communicating with the staff

♦ Keep the MP on track and on schedule

♦ Coordinate complex travel arrangements (business and personal)

♦ Assist with business development using Salesforce: prompt the MP to contact leads and follow up

♦ Coordinate strategy meetings (3 times a year) for team members, including arranging a speaker and creating an agenda

♦ Enter activity into the CRM

♦ Send information to clients

♦ Research in preparation for meetings

♦ Oversee campus hiring events for Analysts

♦ Assist with online shopping and returns

♦ Process expense reports

♦ Order supplies for the office

♦ Screen incoming phone calls, delivering detailed, timely messages to the appropriate parties

♦ Some off-hour availability required

About You:

♦ Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting a CEO (large, publicly traded co. preferred)

♦ BA/BS from a college or university
