Executive Assistant to Business Services (on site)
(Full Time, Year Round) 
NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING 
Eden Prairie Schools is seeking applicants for an Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive administrative support to the Executive Director of Business Services while coordinating a variety of districtwide business operations and initiatives. This position serves as a key liaison between district leadership, staff, community members, government agencies, and external partners, ensuring efficient communication, exceptional customer service, and the effective coordination of business office functions.





The Executive Assistant plays an integral role in supporting district budget development and presentation, coordinating school board materials, facilitating finance advisory and budget committees, overseeing school district elections, and supporting leasing operations at the Valley View Campus. This position also provides administrative support to additional district executive leaders and assists with business office operations, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Eden Prairie Schools is a diverse school district with approximately 1,500 employees serving over 9,500 students. The district is recognized for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and leadership in educational programming.
Position requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Three or more years of administrative assistance, experience with assistance to top administrative position preferred. 

    Qualifications

  • Ability to understand and interpret district policies and regulations, and Minnesota statutes regarding business service issues, including election laws.
  • Expertise and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database applications.
  • Ability to compose correspondence, maintain accurate record keeping, and demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, organize and handle multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and take direction from several sources.

 $79,039 (per the Confidential Employee Agreement)
