About the Role

The Financial Controller position is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, plays a key role in managing the company’s financial operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and long-term stability. This position is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions—including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting—to support sound business decisions and organizational growth.


The Controller will maintain strong financial controls, lead day-to-day accounting activities, and prepare accurate cash flow analyses and financial projections. This role also involves collaborating across departments to align financial management with operational objectives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and highly proficient in QuickBooks, with excellent communication and organizational skills.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP)Accounts Receivable (AR)general ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Manage and monitor cash flow, including preparation of cash flow analyses and projections.
  • Lead collection efforts to maintain strong cash flow and minimize outstanding receivables.
  • Maintain and optimize QuickBooks for accuracy, efficiency, and reporting.
  • Process payroll and maintain HR-related employee data, with experience in ADP Payroll and HR integration considered a plus, but not required.
  • Develop and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal staff and management to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on accounting or financial management experience.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal staff across departments.
  • Strong collection management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to create and interpret cash flow analyses and financial projections.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and standard bookkeeping principles.
  • Must pass a Bookkeeping and QuickBooks proficiency test prior to hire.
