Are you a systems-loving, people-savvy coordinator who gets excited about turning partnerships into powerhouse revenue streams?
SelfPublishing.com is looking for an Event Planner to help us grow our affiliate and promotional partnership program by supporting the Head of Business Development in landing, delivering, and renewing high-performing partnerships. You'll be the glue that holds our strategic partner process together-from onboarding, asset delivery, and event execution to post-event renewals.
This role is built for someone who thrives in execution, loves seeing things through from A to Z, and is motivated by growth, results, and relationships.
What You'll Be Doing
As the Event Planner, your primary goal is to drive affiliate revenue and qualified appointments by:
Ensuring the Success of Live Partnership Events
  • Schedule and manage launch calls and run-throughs
  • Coordinate with the marketing team on key assets (emails, landing pages, follow-up sequences)
  • Test, manage, and deliver all partner-facing promotional materials
  • Track registration and revenue goals to ensure event success
Renewing Partners for Evergreen or Additional Promotions
  • Lead post-event debrief calls and capture lessons learned
  • Renew existing partners-especially those that don't require new negotiation
  • Identify evergreen opportunities and grow recurring revenue per partner
Creating Raving-Fan Partners
  • Manage invoices and commissions (in partnership with our Finance Team)
  • Ensure on-time commission payouts and performance bonuses
  • Send partner appreciation gifts and touchpoints to keep morale high
Freeing Up the Head of Biz Dev's Time
  • Take administrative and coordination tasks off his plate so he can stay focused on closing
  • Act as an executive assistant when needed to help move deals forward faster
