  • Annual salary range of $90,000–$150,000, depending on experience level
  • Full-time -
    • Jan Apr: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
    • May– Dec: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM

A long-standing, growth-focused public accounting firm with multiple offices throughout Iowa is seeking a Senior Accountant, CPA to join their team. This firm has been serving businesses and individuals for over a century and is known for building strong relationships with clients while maintaining a fun and collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex income tax returns (corporate, partnership, and individual)
  • Prepare business tax filings and stay current on tax law changes
  • Lead financial statement engagements including audits, reviews, and compilations
  • Train and supervise staff on engagements
  • Engage with clients in a professional and positive manner
  • Additional tasks as assigned
 
Qualifications and Requirements
  • CPA license or actively pursuing licensure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of audit and tax preparation experience preferred
  • Experience leading engagements and supervising staff
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting and accounting software
  • QuickBooks & Ultra Tax experience preferred, not required
  • Valid driver’s license required
