Standard Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm and Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.

Position Summary:
The Assistant Controller will play a key role as they assist senior managing accountants with specific assignments and responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Support the senior/managing accountant and wider finance team.
  • Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare project profitability analysis, when requested.
  • Attend meetings and assist with other administrative duties.
  • Participates in the monthly close process to ensure complete and accurate reporting.
  • Identify solutions to any discrepancies in financial records.
  • Collaborate with financial team to create/develop internal policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Required: High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Minimum 2 years of construction accounting with general ledger experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with Timberline/Sage software a plus.
  • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to sit at a desk and/or computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
