Job description

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Repair Technician to join our team.
In this role, this position will report to the Field Operations Manager - Operations Department. Working hours begin at 6:30am. This position will report to the office where you will prepare for your job assignments for the day and brief with your team.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of various roofing systems, skylights, siding, gutters and other potential leak and problem sources that arise from roof installations.
  • Ability to self-start and problem solve.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools, reading a tape measure, metal brake usage.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail, perform work with quality and professionalism.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, lift heavy objects, climb ladders and comfortable working from heights and on multiple pitches of roofing

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES: Assist the Operations Team with customer call backs within our Residential Roofing, Siding and Window department, including - diagnosing and repairing complex issues on our residential job sites.
  • Identify and repair roof leaks, damage, and structural issues.
  • Assist in installing fascia metal, flashing, ridge vents, and other components.
  • Install, repair, and replace residential roofing systems including asphalt shingles, tile, metal, and other roofing types.
  • Customer interactions with homeowners to help address their issues and answer any questions regarding the repair/install process.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed using our CRM system, including job notes, photographs, measurements and materials used/needed.
  • Ensure immaculate clean-up after installations.
  • Strict adherence to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Primarily outdoor work - exposed to all seasons of varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent climbing of ladders and working at heights.
