Position Overview
Higgins Group is currently hiring Commercial Framing, Drywall Installers & Drywall Finishers to join our traveling field crews supporting commercial construction projects throughout the region, including active projects in Western Kansas.
In this position, team members assist with the installation of metal framing, drywall systems, and acoustic ceiling assemblies on commercial job sites. Work is performed as part of a coordinated crew under the leadership of a foreman to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.
Because our projects span multiple locations, this role requires travel to active job sites throughout the region.
Employees should be comfortable working on different project sites and traveling as needed for the duration of assigned projects.
Reliable personal transportation is required to reach assigned job sites and maintain crew schedules.
Key Responsibilities
• Install commercial metal stud framing and related components
• Hang and finish drywall in accordance with project plans
• Install acoustic ceiling tile (ACT) systems and grid assemblies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area following OSHA and company standards
• Follow direction from foremen and project supervisors
• Coordinate work with other trades on the job site
• Represent Higgins Group professionally with clients and trade partners
Travel & Transportation Expectations
• Regular travel to job sites across the region is required
• Current projects include work in Western Kansas and surrounding areas
• Team members must have reliable transportation to travel to assigned project locations
