Job description

A successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a small team environment, a strong attention to detail, an energetic and positive attitude. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented associate to join our growing team. This multi-faceted role is crucial to the smooth operation of our office and requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and financial management skills. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing a variety of responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management:
    • Process accounts payable, including bill payments and vendor management
    • Prepares and maintains accounting records for clients
    • Assist with budgeting and cash projections
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other accounting reports which accurately reflect the financial position of the client entities
    • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
    • Prepare and post accurate journal entries.
    • Generate monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
    • Maintain organized financial records.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support and managing internal and external correspondence
    • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Planning and Organization:
    • Develop and implement efficient organizational systems.
    • Manage schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Proactively identify and address potential issues.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
