Each bag of Dot's Pretzels tastes as if they were made straight from the home kitchen of Dot herself. Our foundation is built on relationships. We are family. The Dot's Pretzels brand has seen an enormous amount of growth, so we are looking for employees to become a part of our team in the Plymouth, IN location.
Pay:
  • Starting at $26.39/hr
  • Biweekly pay

Shifts:
  • Day and night shifts available
  • 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm, 6pm-6am)
  • Plant operates on various schedules (schedule assignment determined by candidate preference and plant needs):
  • 2-2-3 schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation. Working 3-4 days/week (One week: Sun, Wed, Thurs Next week: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat).

Summary:
Responsible for shuttling trailers to and from satellite warehouse(s), moving trailers around the property lot, and tracking trailer locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate Yard Tractor equipment while maneuvering trailers on the property lot.
  • All pre and post-trip inspections must be completed and documented in appropriate forms.
  • Safely operate all Material Handling equipment and perform the necessary safety checks prior to operating.
  • Always maintain food safety awareness and immediately report any issues to management.
  • Operate within the guidelines of all SQF policies and procedures.
  • Perform all necessary inspections and verifications.
  • Correctly attach identifying tags or labels to materials as needed.
  • Make all transactions within S4 Hana to ensure inventory accuracy and lot control are always maintained.
  • Comprehend the reading of shipping & receiving documents, gauges, schedules, and dispatches.
  • Move materials in and out of storage safely and without damage
  • Generate all necessary shipping documents via S4 Hana
  • Check shipping documents for accuracy prior to making copies for the driver.
  • Communicate to customers, drivers, dispatchers, etc., at the window or by phone and with oncoming crew to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Assist with warehouse work as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Class A CDL in good standing and maintained as required under DOT
  • Forklift certification, Yard Tractor Certification, M.H.E. Certification.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Passing score on the Math skills test
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
