Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette (PPCW) is hiring a Temporary Back Office Clinic Assistant to join our Beaverton Health Center team. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

About This Opportunity
This is a temporary position expected to run from November 2026 through February 2027.
While this position is being hired as temporary, staffing needs and opportunities can change. Temporary employees are welcome to apply for regular PPCW positions that become available during their assignment, and temporary employment has often provided a pathway into ongoing roles with PPCW.Continued employment beyond this temporary assignment is not guaranteed.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be part of the clinical team supporting patients through their visit and helping create a safe, respectful, and efficient experience.
On a typical day, you might:
  • Room patients, take vital signs, and prepare them for their visit
  • Support providers during exams and procedures
  • Assist with lab work, including specimen collection and processing
  • Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and instruments
  • Answer patient questions and help them feel informed and at ease
  • Work closely with your team to keep the clinic running smoothly

You'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality sexual and reproductive health care while helping ensure every patient is treated with dignity and respect.
Schedule & Location
This is a temporary, part-time position (30 hours/week) at our Beaverton Health Center.

Bilingual Spanish preferred.
You must be able to reliably work this schedule.
Occasional work at other times, days, or PPCW locations may be required to support operational needs.

Pay & Growth
$20.37-$29.68/hour
Pay is based on experience and internal equity. Most new hires start toward the lower end of the range, with room to grow.
Additional Pay Opportunities
  • Bilingual premium: +$1.72/hour
  • Interpreter-level premium: +$3.44/hour
  • After 6 months, you may be eligible for additional clinic responsibilities that include extra hourly pay
