About Our FamilyWe're a close-knit family of seven, with five teens in a flexible, non-traditional education setup that includes online school, college dual enrollment, tutoring, and public-school extracurriculars. Three of our kids are home full time, and two live at college, but are back for frequent visits and during summer and school breaks. Our house is always full of energy, not only with our kids but with their friends, too-our home tends to be the gathering place. Whether it's sports practices, school activities, or family events, there's always something happening here. With both parents working from home and running our own businesses, the pace is not slow.
We enjoy our energetic, lively home, with a steady flow of people coming in and out, and we've worked to create a space that feels open, welcoming, and inclusive to all who enter. We're looking for someone who can help keep everything organized and running smoothly so we can focus on what matters most.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a home filled with warmth and positivity, and mutual respect, and we're looking for someone who will help us keep everything organized and running smoothly. Our biggest pain points are overall organization, tidiness, and laundry. We want simple, sustainable systems that make daily life easier. Having high-protein snacks prepped in the fridge for our growing, active kids would help reduce our mental load during the workday. As a close-knit family, we value the time we get to spend together-having a trusted partner in the home will allow us to focus on what matters most.
Who You Are / What We're Looking ForYou are someone who thrives in a dynamic, ever-changing environment. You're comfortable being around a lot of teenagers and the buzz of activity, and you are not easily overwhelmed by the constant flow of people in and out of the house. You're proactive, self-directed, and have a keen eye for what needs to be done before anyone has to ask. You can intuitively read the room-whether that means taking the initiative on a certain task or understanding when it's best to give space. Adaptability is key.
You are highly organized, always keeping systems in place, but flexible enough to adjust when necessary. With your warm, positive demeanor, you're someone who brings energy to the home, even during the busiest of days.
Your intelligence and professionalism are reflected in everything you do, and you're comfortable asking questions and seeking clarity when needed. You take feedback well, remaining resilient and focused on improving, and you appreciate the straightforward approach to communication. We value a collaborative working relationship built on trust, initiative, and mutual respect.
This role is focused on household support and organization rather than childcare. Our kids are older, active, and largely independent. We understand everything may not get done every week, and priorities will shift depending on the season and current family needs.
