Salary Range: $55,000–$72,000, commensurate with experience and Revit skills assessment

River Architects PLLC is a design-driven architecture firm based in Cold Spring, NY. Our work is rooted in LEED, Passive Building, Net Zero, and Living Building Challenge principles, with a strong focus on environmental responsibility, craft, and performance-driven design.

We are seeking a full-time Architectural Designer with strong Revit skills to join our team. An ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience working on Construction Documents using Revit BIM software. The candidate should know how to create and modify 3D BIM models and families with ease and understand what goes into compiling a set of Construction Documents. The candidate must be proactive, resourceful, effective, self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented, and disciplined. This role is ideal for a technically proficient designer who is eager to grow, contribute meaningfully across all project phases, and develop long-term within the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support projects across all phases, from concept design through construction
  • Develop and maintain 3D BIM models and construction documents using Revit
  • Assist with architectural detailing, drafting, and coordination
  • Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and internal project teams
  • Prepare presentation materials and design studies
  • Research materials, products, and building systems
  • Assist with permit and contract document preparation and delivery
  • Attend project meetings and collaborate closely with project architects and managers
  • Participate in construction site visits

Qualifications and Preferred Skills
  • A professional degree in architecture (BArch preferred)
