7th Street Dental is a premier practice dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care in a friendly, patient-focused environment. With the recent addition of a new doctor to our team, we are expanding to meet the needs of our community. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative, "all-hands-on-deck" office where every team member is valued and motivated to deliver an incredible patient experience.
We are looking for an exceptional, highly motivated EFDA to join our growing clinical team. This role is designed for a professional who balances high-level clinical technicality with a warm, educational approach to patient comfort. As an EFDA, you will play a central role in our clinical workflow, performing expanded functions while ensuring our operatories run with precision and care.

Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Job Description

Clinical Excellence: Perform expanded functions as regulated, including 4-handed dentistry to assist the dentist during complex procedures.
Patient Comfort & Education: Prepare patients for treatment, ensure their comfort throughout the visit, and provide clear oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Operatory Management: Set up necessary instruments, equipment, and materials for each procedure; maintain a clean, sterile, and well-stocked workspace.
Sterilization: Strictly follow health and safety regulations to sterilize instruments and equipment according to industry standards.
Administrative Support: Maintain accurate digital patient records, assist with payment procedures, and utilize computer systems for daily operations.
Laboratory Tasks: Undertake specific lab duties as instructed by the lead dentist.

Salary Range

Full-time $25 - $30 per hour

Computer Literacy: Basic computer operation skills for managing patient records.
