Era Living is seeking a part-time Lead Resident Assistant to become the newest member of our Community Health team located in our University House Issaquah, Issaquah, WA community. Available NOC shifts will be scheduled Friday and Saturday, 10:00PM to 6:30AM.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Lead Resident Assistant is considered a shift lead, providing support and direction to other Resident Assistants working the same shift, as well as providing direct resident care services. This includes providing personal care services, exceptional clinical observation of residents, and medication distribution as primary job responsibilities. The Lead Resident Assistant will also assist with a variety of routine administrative activities as determined by the supervisor.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to provide all aspects of personal care to older adults at all functional levels
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Ability to schedule tasks effectively to meet strict deadlines and within allotted time
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to pass DSHS and State background check, required
Education and Experience:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aide Certification required
  • Nurse Delegation certificate
  • Fundamentals of Caregiving or Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving
  • Caregiver Mental Health and Dementia
  • Maintains required 12 hours of CE needed for NAC certificate
  • Has worked in Home Health, Skilled Nursing Facility or other long term care setting for 2 or more years
  • Assisted Living experience preferred
  • Knowledge or skill in working with older adults and adults with memory impairment
  • Food Handler's Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
