Overview
Carle Health is seeking a Radiology Practitioner Assistant/Registered Radiologist Assistant to join our growing Radiology team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details

  • Join the Radiology department at a well-established multispecialty group practice
  • Typical schedule M-F / 8:00 am-5:00 pm, no weekends or holidays
  • Opportunity to perform procedures including, but not limited to the following:
    • Fluoroscopic procedures (static and dynamic)
    • Ultrasound, Computed Tomography, or Fluoroscopic guided steroid injections
    • Arthrograms
    • Lumbar punctures/Myelograms
  • Review preliminary reports and images with a supervising physician
  • Participate in patient management
Education Requirements:
  • Master's Degree from a Radiology Practitioner Assistant Program recognized by the Certification Board for Radiology Practitioner Assistants (CBRPA) or Registered Radiologist Assistant program recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART)
  • Maintain current levels of education in emerging techniques, procedures and therapies by obtaining a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education each biennium as required by CBRPA or 50 continuing education credits each biennium as required by the ARRT
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
  • Certification by the Certification Board for Radiology Practitioner Assistants (CBRPA) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensed radiologic technologist in the state of Illinois
  • BLS and ACLS certified

The compensation range for this position is $60.72 - $78.94/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
