Job description

Cardiac First Assistant Tech

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Available shifts are 3 shifts of 12 hours or 4 shifts of 10 hours. On-call requirements are 4-5 shifts per month with weekends to be determined.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac First Assistant Tech to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the surgical team in the operating room.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in various surgical procedures including General Surgery, Urology, GYN, Spine, Neuro, Orthopedics, Robotics, and Vascular.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure effective patient care.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • At least 2 years of First Assist experience is required.
  • Certifications: CSFA or CFA are mandatory.
