The IT team enables Affirmers to work securely and efficiently. We manage internal devices, networks, and systems, ensuring employees can collaborate and perform at their best. Our team supports onboarding, troubleshooting, and scaling technology across locations. We focus on usability, reliability, and security to maintain a productive work environment. The IT team ensures that Affirmers have the tools and support they need-wherever they work.

We're seeking a flexible IT Support Admin to help manage and support Affirm's technology infrastructure. For our ideal candidate, troubleshooting and problem-solving are beloved pastimes, and they come with a healthy respect for compliance and documentation.

What You'll Do:
  • Plan, deploy, and configure new systems to keep up with changing needs

  • Remotely support and troubleshoot our end user's problems

  • Requirement to be in office supporting 5 days a week

  • Monitor for security threats and malware, staying ahead of the curve to protect our users

  • Educate on and enforce our IT compliance and policy obligations

  • Support the Network infrastructure locally in the Toronto office

  • Maintain enterprise systems and company IT assets such as servers and desktops

  • Handle jira support ticket requests that come in

What We Look For:
  • Experience with macOS administration and support

  • Ability to improvise and find immediate solutions

  • Experience managing formal ticketing systems

  • Experience administering SaaS technologies

  • Flexibility to work with all types of technology

    • macOS, Windows, Check Scanners, Network devices, etc.

  • Experience with machine and account provisioning and deprovisioning

  • Experience managing Enterprise security:

    • Endpoint security-disk encryption, OS firewalls, laptop/mobile lockdownย 

    • Email security-tools for signed/encrypted email communication

  • Mobile device management technologies

Pluses:

  • Experience administering Google for Business

  • Self motivated to learn and advance their career within IT

  • Experience with AV systems and photo/video editing

  • Ability to explain difficult technical concepts without being condescending

  • Apple Certified Associate or ACSP certification

  • Automation and scripting experience

Pay Grade - E
Equity Grade - 1
Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.ย 
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).
CAN base pay range per year: $63,000 - $83,000
