About the role:

You will be working in our Dover, DE location responsible for answering and managing a computer-based multiline switchboard, greeting clients and visitors, and assisting in the fulfillment of in-office clerical tasks. This role involves working full-time and in-office from 9am to 6pm EST, Monday through Friday.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate deliveries to and from various couriers, including USPS, FedEx, and UPS
  • Deliver, file, and retrieve documents to and from various state agencies
  • Manage a computer-based multiline switchboard phone system
  • Answer incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner and forward appropriately for assistance
  • Greet clients and visitors in a polite and pleasant manner
  • Receive legal service of process documents on clients’ behalf
  • Accurately open, sort, and distribute incoming mail
  • Assist in outgoing bulk-mail projects
  • Assist with tracking, maintaining, and distributing office supplies
  • Assist in tax and special audit projects
  • Perform additional clerical tasks as needed
  • Communicate courteously and professionally with clients, correspondents, and coworkers

  • Technical competencies: You are comfortable using Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and navigating Capitol Services’ Avaya VOIP phone system.
  • Office environment: You are able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time and work 100% in-office.
