Job description

FishEye Software is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to develop, integrate, and enhance advanced radar capabilities for mission-critical applications. In this role, you will work across the systems engineering lifecycle, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to translate operational needs into reliable, high-performance radar solutions.
This position requires an Active Secret Clearance and is 100% on-site in Maynard, MA.
This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements development through integration, verification, validation, and field deployment.
  • Analyze system performance to evaluate detection, tracking, and target characterization capabilities while identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Participate in system integration, acceptance testing, and operational validation activities for new radar capabilities and system upgrades.
  • Perform engineering assessments using operational data, test results, and performance metrics to identify trends and improve system effectiveness.
  • Support mission modeling, simulation activities, and engineering trade studies to evaluate system performance across operational scenarios.
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action efforts related to system anomalies and performance issues.
  • Prepare technical reports, engineering presentations, customer briefings, and proposal documentation supporting stakeholders.

Required Skills:
  • Active Secret Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting radar, sensor, aerospace, or other complex defense systems.
  • Working knowledge of radar fundamentals, RF systems, signal processing concepts, and/or sensor performance evaluation.
  • Experience applying systems engineering principles including requirements management, system verification, and validation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical data.
  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience supporting missile warning, air defense, or other defense-related sensor programs.
  • Familiarity with phased-array radar, surveillance radar, tracking radar, or other advanced sensing technologies.

Salary Range:
The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $190,000 USD. The final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's education, experience, skills, certifications, and other relevant qualifications, as well as applicable client or government contractual rates.
