Your Team, Your Impact

Marvell's Compute and Custom Solutions organization (CCS) is looking for a talented senior architect to join our architecture team. This team is responsible for the overall SoC architecture of standard and customer-specific products for leading-edge datacenter servers, STRUCTERA CXL memory expanders, CXL near-memory compute, AI memory and OCTEON DPUs for cloud, carrier, and enterprise datacenter applications.

What You Can Expect

Engage with customers, engineering, and marketing to lead chip architecture of innovative and complex processor-based SoCs.
Specifying product requirements and driving to closure.
Architecting new blocks and capabilities.
Overseeing and coordinating IP evaluation, IP block microarchitecture, pinouts, cost estimates, and power estimates.
Communicating and coordinating with other business units in Marvell on internal IP and sharing capabilities and knowledge.
Presenting trainings to peers, helping develop the team, and mentoring other architects/engineers.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 14+ years of related professional experience.

Or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 10+ years of experience.

Or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 8+ years of experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in system architecture development and related fields

  • Demonstrated expertise in SoC architecture, e.g., interconnects, I/O technologies, virtualization, memory hierarchies, clocks, resets, power management, security, etc.

  • Demonstrated technical leadership delivering complex silicon solutions.
