Key Responsibilities

  • Champion job site safety and enforce all safety policies with consistency and integrity.
  • Oversee construction activities in accordance with project plans, specifications, and proven work practices.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to maintain accurate, timely documentation.
  • Supervise craft workers and promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and high performance.
  • Plan and manage schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment needs.
  • Maintain schedule efficiency while minimizing unnecessary overtime and general conditions.
  • Ensure the accuracy of craft timecards and weekly equipment-hour reporting.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, storage, and utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Provide precise layout and communication across all trades.
  • Support or lead job setup, communication workflows, safety compliance, quality control, and closeout.
  • Assist Project Managers with material scheduling and change management processes.
  • Develop and manage site logistics plans.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum (1) year in a leadership role in commercial construction.
  • Proven background in managing mid to largescale construction projects.
  • OSHA 30hour or OSHA 10hour certification required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Procore experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Strong working knowledge of safety laws and company policies.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical construction documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels.
  • Experience with large construction projects required.
  • NUCOR Buildings experience preferred.
