Job description

Assistant Superintendent — Multifamily Construction

Location: Denver Metro, CO (on-site) • Full-time, direct hire • Comp $90–100K DOE (flexible for the right person)

About the opportunity

Staff Chasers is partnering with a well-established, 40-year Denver-area general contractor (multifamily and commercial) to hire an Assistant Superintendent. The first assignment is a 150-unit podium, ground-up multifamily project.

What you’ll do

Partner with the Project Superintendent to run the jobsite day-to-day: scheduling and sequencing, subcontractor and crew coordination, inspections, quality control, safety, layout, and closeout — working hand-in-hand with the Project Engineer.

What you bring

Field-leadership experience on ground-up multifamily (podium a plus). A trades-up background (carpentry, framing, or concrete → foreman) is welcomed — a Construction Management degree is a plus, not required. Scheduling software (Phoenix, Primavera

P6, or MS Project); OSHA 30; local Denver-market knowledge of subs and jurisdictions; bilingual (Spanish) a strong plus.

**Why this role

Join a builder known for retention (~60% of staff 6+ years) and promote-from-within leadership — you’ll be one of the two most important people on the jobsite. A full-service GC — construction management, design-build, preconstruction, estimating, and value engineering — with a genuinely diverse portfolio: healthcare and micro-hospitals, biomedical research labs, multifamily and affordable housing, office, retail, technical, and mixed-use. Big enough to crush the competition and small enough to make sure your voice is heard and accomplishments are recognized.
