Job Summary:
Proserv is a global controls technology company providing solutions to improve the reliability and performance of critical infrastructure in the energy sector. The Subsea Technical Account Manager will manage key account relationships in Brazil, support solution development, and drive growth in the territory through collaboration with clients and sales initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Promote Proserv’s controls business product lines and improve market awareness, with a focus on Proserv’s products and Services capabilities, as well as all other Proserv Business Unit offerings, to achieve growth in revenue, profit and market share.
• Engage and support a broad range of Brazil accounts, including key strategic accounts.
• Maintain key account relationships to provide technical solution development support that solve client challenges and contribute to sales revenue goals in the region.
• Ensure awarded scopes are managed and executed efficiently, acting the daily liaison between clients and Proserv’s Sales and Technical resources in foreign offices.
• Engage with local OEM partners and engineering firms to support development and implementation of collaborate subsea and topside scopes.
• Support Proserv Brazil Lead and regional Director of Sales to define technical and commercial go forward plans and strategies to promote regional solutions.
• Define areas in the market to build niche solutions, actively target and seek new projects and opportunities out of the standard controls BS.
• Establish and maintain relationships with development, engineering, operations and procurement staff employed by operators and consultants.
• Develop and grow market share by targeting key projects or clients. Defining the project decision makers, influencer and detractors, thus converting opportunities into Orders.
• Contribute to the preparation and compilation of the technical and commercial content of documents relating to pre-qualifications, quotation and tenders in readiness for timely submission in an accurate and professional manner.
• Support all client interactions and act as client interface to Proserv Team, across Sales, Engineering, Commercial and Services team members.
• Assist in preparing activity and performance reports against approved plans.
• Assist the Brazil Lead / Director of Sales in preparing activity and performance reports against approved plans.
• Monitor and report on competitors and operator activity.
• Represent the business as necessary at client meetings, technical seminars, etc., and contribute to various sales events, exhibitions, proportions and literature as required.
• Participate in client meetings to support tender, contract and controls opportunities.
• Local focal point for membership of industrial bodies/committees for information and networking opportunities.
• Flexible with working hours as working outside normal hours of work will be required and is part of the role.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Candidates must be local to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Technical or Engineering degree or previous experience in a similar technical, operations or engineering role preferred.
• Native proficiency in Portuguese and fluent in English.
• The ability to engineer control-related solutions and experience supporting offshore work with implementation of controls-related scopes.
• The ability to build relations and challenge convention through imaginative thinking and ambition are paramount to the success of this role.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ Production Control Systems experience.
• Ability to develop and communicate technical engineering solutions that solve field challenges and deliver value to the client.
• Ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems.
• Strong communication, problem solving and technical solution development skills.
• Keyboard/computer skills with the ability to use all Microsoft Office Products.
• Enthusiastic, energetic and a confident individual.
• Excellent communications skills at all levels, both oral and written, with the ability to generate and deliver presentations to Proserv and client personnel.
• Respond effectively to demands of a high and varied workload and changing job priorities.
