Special Security Representative (SSR)
Kingfisher Systems, Inc. (Kingfisher) specializes in providing a full range of Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Intelligence, and support services to the U.S. Government. Responsibilities
Kingfisher is seeking a Special Security Representative (SSR) to assist in day-to-day administration, management, and implementation of Special Compartmented Information (SCI) Security, administer highly specialized facility or government classified security programs, ensure safeguarding of classified information, and maintain compliance with regulations. Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following.
  • Assist leadership with SCI program management and policy, plans, and operations integration.
  • Coordinate with parent Special Security Offices as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide critical training readiness support by ensuring that training platforms meet ICD-705.
  • Coordinate the transmittal of classified information.
  • Work on security issues that may include physical access to buildings, rooms, couriers, clearances, packages, documentation, and debriefings.
  • Analyze and implement security procedures in coordination with government agencies and management personnel.
  • Analyze the development of and conduct security education programs.
  • Train employees in security regulations.
  • Liaise with government security agencies.
  • Arrange classified visits.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience with compartmented programs in DoD, U.S. intelligence community (I.C.), or U.S. contractors.
  • Experience with security training and security inspections.
  • Experience with planning or accrediting facilities in accordance with the ICD 7051 standard.
  • Experience with security processes.
  • Knowledge of security policies and procedures, including the National Industrial Security Program Supplement and DoD 5105.21 volumes 1-3.
  • Experience with the U.S. Army Reserve-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience with special security for a government agency, including the U.S. Army or DoD.
Degree Requirement: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in lieu of degree allowed.
Minimum Clearance Requirement: Minimum Top-Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility. Applicants selected may be subject to an additional security investigation and thus may have additional eligibility requirements to meet.
U.S. Citizenship: Required.
