Job description

RN Independent Contractor (1099)
EveryDay We Care, LLC/Total Care Services, Inc. is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Georgia to provide contract-based clinical services within a home care setting. This 1099 Independent Contractor role is designed for an experienced RN who is self-directed, clinically sound, and knowledgeable in Georgia home care regulations.
The RN Contractor will conduct nursing assessments, complete supervisory visits, and provide clinical oversight and training for Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to ensure safe, compliant, and person-centered service delivery.
Compensation Structure
  • $100.00 per completed visit - In-home assessments
  • $50.00 per completed visit - Supervisory visits
Payment is contingent upon timely submission of complete and compliant documentation per contractual agreement.
Scope of Services
The RN Contractor will:
• Conduct initial in-home nursing assessments and required reassessments
• Perform supervisory visits in accordance with Georgia home care regulations
• Provide clinical oversight, direction, and competency validation for Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)
• Deliver or oversee required PCA training related to client-specific care needs
• Review and update individualized care plans based on assessment findings and condition changes
• Identify health and safety risks and recommend appropriate clinical interventions
• Ensure services are delivered in compliance with EWC policies and State of Georgia regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and audit-ready documentation
• Provide telephone-based clinical consultation during assigned on-call periods
This role requires independent clinical judgment, regulatory awareness, and adherence to professional nursing standards.
Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia, in good standing
• Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience (home care preferred)
• Knowledge of Georgia home care regulations and supervisory requirements
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-home visits
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Active TB/PPD screening clearance per state requirements
• Strong assessment, training, and documentation skills
• Ability to operate independently as a contracted provider
Contractor Requirements
• Maintain active professional liability insurance
• Responsible for all tax obligations (1099 classification)
• Comply with all Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) home care regulations
• Submit required documentation within established timelines to ensure payment
