Job description


Responsible for the successful operation of the Casino and assuring that our guests have a favorable gaming experience. Promote Family Style Service culture through actions and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
  • Develop and manage the budget for the Casino Department.
  • Review and manage department's financial data.
  • Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests. Manage processes and programs to effectively control and reduce loss time injuries.
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Delegate duties and assign responsibilities.
  • Development of team members, interviews, hiring, and evaluations.
  • Direct and manage Slot equipment conversions, placement, and repair.
  • Direct and manage Table equipment, placement, and repair
  • Review slot activities and promotional status with VP/General Manager.
  • Monitor and adjust performance in comparison with local competition.
  • Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
  • Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proficient in English verbal and written
  • Proficient with iOS devices
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
  • Seven to ten years experience with operational and management in multi-device 24-hour casino with a 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
  • Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
  • Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
  • Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
