The Slot Attendant is responsible for quickly and accurately performing fills and jackpots on machines, as well as minor repairs. A Slot Attendant walks the casino floor, making themselves available to assist customers and provide friendly, courteous service at all times.

The Gaming Analytics Department is responsible for leading all analytical work related to table games, slots, poker and other gaming products. Our team works with table games and slots operational leadership, Shared Services (ESS Gaming), and property leadership (AGMs/GMs) to optimize the gaming floor and explore/test new products. Some of their activities include:
  • Gaming asset optimization: making recommendations for the types of table games and number of slot units necessary to satisfy demand.
  • Creating and updating recurring product performance models and reports
  • Advising gaming leadership: analyzing and reporting on the financial performance and profitability of table games and slot units on a monthly basis.
  • Assisting with ad hoc analyses
  • One-year previous slot floor-person experience preferred.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to mentally add, subtract and multiply large amounts of money at a rapid and accurate pace.
  • Possesses ability to understand and comply with company and departmental directives, policies and procedures.
  • Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift.  
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Gaming License, NV.
  • Requires some standing and walking, continuously, throughout the entire shift (typically 7 hours).
  • Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke. Must be able to keep pace with peak levels of business and customer demands. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. or more at any given time.
  • Must be able to comply with all physical and mental requirements. (lift, pull, push, and carry up to 100 pounds). Also able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and twist.  
  • Must be able to tolerate stressful situations and frequent interruptions. Also, maintain accurate count and verify banks when necessary.  
  • Must be able to manage and solve any concerns and questions customers may have. Also, should be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Maintain and tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Actively patrols assigned sections looking for opportunities to surprise and delight guests. Enhance guest's slot entertainment experience by creating a fun, high-energy environment through the celebration of slot wins and building players' perception of luck.
  • Displays attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic behavior during each and every (Moment of Truth) interaction throughout the shift.
  • Develops customer loyalty by delivering unparalleled guest interactions as directed by company trained initiatives.
  • Clearly communicates functionality of Slot Floor (i.e., Fast Cash - ticket in/ticket out)
  • Responds to the right customers in the right order for service requests including slot dispatch, slot candle lights, radio, and customers while meeting or exceeding department service standards. Verifies and countersigns hand paid jackpots.
  • Resolves guest complaints through the use of Service Recovery with a sense of urgency and empathy with approved levels of authority.
  • Keeps slot areas clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Professional appearance, excellent personal hygiene, and phone etiquette is a must.
  • Courteous, friendly, outgoing personality is essential.
  • Good organization and communication skills required.
  • Accuracy and diligence are necessary while working in a loud, fast-paced environment. Constant public contact with frequent interruptions.
