Job description

About This Role

Want to come work for a growing bicycle and ski retailer right here in the heart of The Berkshires? Think you've got what it takes to succeed in a fast paced work environment? Come and check out our award winning company culture and core values, focusing on strong growth opportunities by putting the right people in the right places from within our business.

Berkshire Bike and Board is a growing family of local bike and ski shops, all with a singular purpose-to get more butts on bikes. Our company culture is built around the outdoors - we are dedicated domestiques to our customers, we continually try to empower staff to take action, and of course we are 'off the front' in everything we do! Our environment is a place that values fresh ideas and creative thinking in addition to being fast-paced and demanding. Each of our two stores dominates its local market and we can now call ourselves one of the leading pedal assist dealers in New England. We're proud to have built what we believe is truly one of the best bike shops in New England and truly a great place to come to work! We expanded into the ski market in 2024 and we have established ourselves as the go to ski shop for seasonal rentals, ski and board tuning, and ski boot fitting.

Our staff members will tell you that Berkshire Bike and Board is a great place to work. We offer competitive compensation for our industry. Pay is based on experience and talent. We not only give great discounts and continuing education to our staff, but full time staff also receive additional benefits including paid vacation time!

Working for Berkshire Bike and Board isn't just a job at a bike & ski shop--it is a career in the outdoor industry. Our employee development path allows for upward mobility from sales, tech, and management in our local shops to opportunities at our soon to be built brand headquarters. All employees will spend the first few weeks learning our culture, products, and processes-with group rides afterward. Other company-sponsored training includes brand-specific and fitting seminars as well as training to help match equipment perfectly with users and consistent training on new products and practices for our mechanics.

If you are open to new ideas and excited about participating in an environment where delivering an outstanding customer experience is our guiding principle, check us out. And if you're passionate about bicycles, you'll fit right in!
