Job description


Position Summary

Orlando Health is seeking an Engagement & Retention Manager responsible for effective implementation, administration, coordination and evaluation of engagement and retention strategies to attract, develop and retain top talent.


Responsibilities
  • Support and manage strategies to attract, develop and retain top talent.
  • Implement and manage programs and initiatives in conjunction with system Human Resources to support the mission, vision and values of Orlando Health.
  • Create and manage programs and initiatives that support organization’s talent retention goals.
  • Implement efforts to monitor employee engagement and identify areas of improvement to strengthen and cultivate organizational culture and team member engagement.
  • Implement and support key initiatives throughout the team member lifecycle to drive the team member experience.
  • Execute and manage strategies that foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Partner with system Human Resources teams to execute reward and recognition programs to incentivize and motivate team members.
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing retention strategies, policies, and programs and recommend appropriate changes.
  • Execute team members and leader communication plans to support engagement and retention strategies.
  • Develop strong working relationships with system Human Resources team. Work collaboratively with peer HRBPs to implement and manage engagement and retention strategies.
  • Align with system human resources teams to identify challenges in the environment, opportunities and/or adverse trends that require intervention as appropriate.
  • Execute department goals and objectives that align with organizational strategic imperatives and Human Resource goals and objectives.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, pending legislation, and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate department performance and identify process improvement.
  • Assist in assimilation of team members resulting from mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations.
  • Proactively facilitate and manage changes to foster team member and leadership acceptance and support.
  • Execute and manage day-to-day activities as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Five (5) years successful Human Resources experience.
  • Healthcare or service industry experience preferred.
  • The successful candidate will be a seasoned Human Resources generalist with significant exposure to a variety of human resources areas including, but not limited to, employee relations, organization development, recruitment, compensation, benefits, communications, planning and finance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Five (5) years successful Human Resources experience.
  • Healthcare or service industry experience preferred.
  • The successful candidate will be a seasoned Human Resources generalist with significant exposure to a variety of human resources areas including, but not limited to, employee relations, organization development, recruitment, compensation, benefits, communications, planning and finance.
