A direct hire opportunity is available for a Security Assistant in Doral, FL. This role supports in-house security operations within a fast-paced transportation and logistics environment, helping protect employees, facilities, assets, visitors, vehicles, and warehouse activity.
The Security Assistant will work closely with the Security Manager to monitor CCTV systems, support security procedures, respond to incidents, maintain accurate reports, and help ensure a safe, organized operation. Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity, security concerns, equipment issues, or emergency situations.
- Support the Security Manager with security policies, procedures, incident response, investigations, documentation, and staff coordination.
- Maintain daily logs, prepare reports, record irregularities, and ensure accurate documentation of security activity.
- Coordinate with security personnel, departments, contractors, service providers, law enforcement, and emergency services as needed.
- Conduct operational security checks, including truck loading and unloading verification, pallet counts, manifest checks, license tag logs, and supply delivery counts.
- Inspect security personnel for proper appearance, equipment, and post coverage while helping maintain compliance with company security standards.
