As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Asset Protection in New Castle, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, behavioral health emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization as directed, and documenting visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
