Position Summary

Positive Growth is seeking a highly organized and mission‑aligned Contract Part‑Time Grants Management & Fundraising Assistant to support development and communications. This remote role partners closely with the Director of Operations and focuses on grant prospecting and management, fundraising data organization, and basic website/social media updates. At least 50% of the workload is dedicated to grant‑related tasks (research, tracking, and document preparation).

Key Responsibilities

Grant Prospecting & Grants Management (Primary – 50%+):

  • Research and identify new grant opportunities aligned with Positive Growth programs in mental health, residential care, and youth support.
  • Maintain and update the grant calendar (deadlines, reporting schedules, renewals).
  • Gather and organize required materials (budgets, financials, narratives, attachments).
  • Draft or assist with Letters of Interest (LOIs), proposals, and supporting documents.
  • Support data collection for reports, including outcomes, success stories, and compliance items.
  • Track submissions, communications, and award status in the grants database.

Fundraising & Development Support:

  • Maintain up‑to‑date donor and grant records in the CRM or tracking system.
  • Assist with donor acknowledgments, thank‑you emails, and stewardship materials.
  • Support development campaigns and outreach efforts; prepare decks, one‑pagers, and partner materials.

Website & Social Media Content Support:

  • Make routine updates to the website (news, events, program announcements).
  • Draft and schedule social media posts highlighting mission, programs, and awareness campaigns.
  • Monitor engagement and identify opportunities for outreach and partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Experience or interest in nonprofit development, grant writing, research, or communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines; organized digital record‑keeping.

  • Self‑directed and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
