Looking for a rewarding way to spend your afternoons? The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking team-oriented individuals to support our after-school programs across the Hanover/Henrico Region.
Position: School Age Child Care Program Assistant
Locations: Adams Elementary, Atlee Station Family YMCA, Chickahominy Family YMCA, Kersey Creek Elementary, Mechanicsville Elementary, and Patrick Henry Family YMCA
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2:00pm-6:15pm
Salary Range: $13-$14 per hour
Your Role on the Team:
  • Partner with program staff to keep activities running smoothly and on schedule
  • Assist with group management, transitions, and daily routines
  • Set up and clean up activity spaces, snacks, and materials
  • Offer encouragement and support to children as they participate in games and projects
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for all participants
