Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join Eagle Point School District in the Medford, Oregon area. This school-based opportunity allows you to support students in developing the skills they need to participate and succeed in the educational environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Implement treatment plans and interventions based on individual student needs and IEP goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, parents, and other members of the educational team.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding student needs and progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current COTA certification and required Oregon licensure/credentials.
  • School-based experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students.
