Job description

Coordonnateur de restauration

Le coordinateur restauration assurera la direction et l'encadrement quotidiens de l'equipe d'accueil et apportera son aide pour les taches courantes et complexes. Le coordinateur est charge de creer une experience client exceptionnelle et sert de modele en creant un environnement qui offre un service et une qualite exceptionnels et repond aux besoins des clients internes et externes. Ce poste peut egalement inclure des taches administratives generales, l'accueil, la photocopie, les services postaux, l'expedition et la reception de produits et de fournitures, le tri, la distribution et le traitement du courrier entrant et sortant.

Responsabilites :

  • Superviser la gestion des stocks, en veillant a ce que la cuisine, le centre de conference et les salles de pause soient bien approvisionnes.
  • Assurer un service client exceptionnel pour tous les evenements, notamment en coordonnant les besoins des reunions, en assurant la livraison rapide des aliments, des boissons et des services de restauration, en coordonnant les horaires du personnel avec les evenements et en se familiarisant avec la technologie de la salle de conference.
  • Suivre les ventes et gerer les rapports quotidiens.
  • Verifier les recus, les registres de caisse et les feuilles de caisse pour en garantir l'exactitude.
  • Veiller a la proprete, a l'entretien regulier et a l'hygiene des equipements dans la cuisine, le salon et les salles de pause-cafe. 
  • Former et controler l'utilisation par l'equipe des procedures operationnelles relatives aux systemes de point de vente et aux caisses enregistreuses afin de traiter efficacement les commandes. 
  • Travailler avec les specialistes des evenements afin de garantir un service exceptionnel pour tous les evenements de service a la clientele sur site. 
  • Maintenir la certification en matiere de securite alimentaire.
  • Peut egalement inclure des taches administratives generales, l'accueil, la photocopie, les services postaux, l'expedition et la reception de produits et de fournitures, le tri, la distribution et le traitement du courrier entrant et sortant.
  • Autres taches assignees par le responsable.

Qualifications :

  • Diplome d'etudes secondaires ou GED.
  • Au moins 4 ans d'experience dans le domaine de la restauration, de l'hotellerie ou de l'organisation d'evenements, une experience en supervision est preferable.
  • Certification en salubrite alimentaire
  • Certification requise pour servir de l'alcool (par exemple, Smart Serve en Ontario)

  • Connaissance appliquee des normes reconnues dans le secteur de la restauration en matiere d'hygiene alimentaire, de manipulation et de preparation des aliments, de mise en place et de service des aliments et des boissons

Catering Coordinator

The Catering Coordinator will provide day-to-day leadership and direction to Hospitality team and assist in routine to complex matters.  The Coordinator is responsible for creating an exceptional client experience and serves as a role model in creating an environment that delivers exceptional service, quality and meets the needs of internal and external clients.  This position may also include general clerical, reception, copying, mail services, shipping and receiving products and supplies, sorting, distributing and handling incoming and outgoing mail. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring the kitchen, conference center and coffee rooms are well stocked 
  • Ensure exceptional client service for all events, including coordinating meeting requirements, prompt delivery of food, beverage and catering needs, coordinating staff schedules with events and familiarity with boardroom technology 
  • Track sales and manage daily reports 
  • Review receipts, cash records and cash log sheets to assure accuracy 
  • Ensure tidiness and regular maintenance and sanitation of equipment in the kitchen, lounge and coffee rooms 
  • Train and monitor team's utilization of operational procedures for POS systems and registers to efficiently process orders 
  • Work with Event Specialists to ensure exceptional service for all on site Client Service Events 
  • Maintain food safety certification 
  • May also include general clerical, reception, copying, mail services, shipping and receiving products and supplies, sorting, distributing and handling incoming and outgoing mail 
  • Other duties as assigned by manager 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a food services, catering role, hospitality or event planning role, supervisory experience preferred 
  • Food Safe Certification 
  • Certification required to serve alcohol (eg. Smart Serve in Ontario) 

Skills:

  • Applied knowledge of accepted food service industry standards with regard to food sanitation, food handling and preparation, food and beverage set-up and service 
  • Must be able to work flexible hours - including evening and weekends 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to exercise discretion and good judgement 
  • Possess excellent co-ordination, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and adaptable to change  
  • Service oriented  
  • Ability to work as a team or independently 
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Applications 
  • Ability to regularly lift and push objects up to 30 lbs.
