Posting Summary
Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Student Assistant (Research) to work in the Department of Rehabilitation & Movement Science.
Under direction, the Student Assistant will assist with collaboration in the design and development of rehabilitation system. The Student Assistant will also assist in conducting a feasibility study to evaluate the usability and effectiveness of the exergames. Additionally, the Student Assistant will be involved in data analysis and perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Collaborates in the design and development of rehabilitation system, under direction.
  • Assists in conducting a feasibility study to evaluate the usability and effectiveness of the exergames.
  • Assists with research data analysis.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • The role is mainly sedentary; the candidate should have adequate visual and fine motor skills to review electronic charts and record data on a computer or tablet; the candidate should have adequate listening and note-taking skills and time management skills to meet the demands of the position. The candidate must have the ability to independently travel to and from the work sites.
