Job Posting: Robot Operations Technician (Entry-Level, $25/hr, Will Train!)
Location: Nevada 
Salary: $25.00 per hour
Travel: Yes – Up to 50% - all expenses paid 
Training Provided: Mechanical aptitude required; full robotic systems training provided
Summary:
Do you have a mechanical mindset and want to work with cutting-edge robotics? Join our team as a Robot Operations Technician supporting daily operation of autonomous robotic systems on active solar construction sites. This is a hands-on, travel-focused role, ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude seeking a career in robotics—no prior robot experience required!
As a Robot Operations Technician, you’ll work directly alongside installation crews, equipment operators, and field leadership to ensure robotic operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll monitor machines for safety, assist installers, clear errors, and document technical issues while supporting the productivity and uptime of robotic equipment.
Primary ResponsibilitiesRobot Operations Support
  • Conduct and document pre-start robot inspections
  • Assist with daily deployment, operation, and shutdown of robots
  • Monitor robot activity during shifts, ensuring safe and correct operation
  • Verify robots operate within standard parameters and resolve common faults
  • Support movement, setup, and operational readiness of robot equipment
  • Learn to operate robotic arms (full training provided!)
  • Assist installation teams and site personnel with day-to-day tasks
Site Process Compliance
  • Work alongside crews to ensure robot-supported processes and zones are followed
  • Verify all site personnel adhere to approved robotic workflows
  • Report and correct process deviations and support proper job sequencing
Troubleshooting & Monitoring
  • Monitor E-stop conditions and resolve errors using an HMI
  • Track robot performance via tablets/laptops and reporting software
  • Document and escalate technical issues as needed, swapping out basic components and capturing all key data
