Job description

Youngblood Excavating & Contracting is looking to hire an experienced pre-engineered metal building crew Foreman. We are looking for hardworking, reliable individual to manage steel building crew. This is a full time position that offers competitive wages and the option for full benefits after 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing crew of 4-6 people
  • Assist with scheduling of materials & equipment needed for the job
  • Working at height to erect and connecting steel components
  •  Completing all paperwork in timely manner
  • Experience with blueprint reading
  • Rig and run tag lines
  • Abide to all safety protocols
  • Must be able to install sheet metal, wall panels, standing seam roofing, trim, gutter systems and insulation.
  • Experience with necessary equipment: Lull, man lift, scissor lift, etc.
  • Operate heavy equipment
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions & extreme temperatures

Requirements:

  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Experience with steel structure erection
  • Not afraid of heights
  • Good coordination skills Basic Metal Assembly
  • Basic knowledge of Lifts and Telebooms
  • Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate a positive attitude
  • Can stay calm under pressure and still make good decisions
  • Ability to work long hours determined by the scope of work
  • Ability to read plans would be a bonus

Experience:

  • Rigging & boom lift operation: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Construction: 2 years (Preferred)
