About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and operationally driven Sales & Operations Manager to support and elevate our Retail Sales organization through strategic forecasting, operational excellence, and data-driven sales planning.
This role will serve as a critical business partner to the Director of Sales and General Manager by leading demand forecasting initiatives, supporting sales strategy development, and managing operational processes that drive retail sales performance. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of retail sales operations, forecasting methodologies, inventory planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
In addition to overseeing sales operations and reporting, this individual will also take point in supporting and managing the local retail sales channel/team to ensure alignment across sales objectives, operational execution, and business growth initiatives.

Reports to: Director of Sales
Salary Range: $95k - $125k
(Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs, in compliance with California pay transparency requirements.)
Responsibilities:
Demand Forecasting & Planning: Develop, maintain, and manage detailed demand forecasting reports and sales projections across retail sales channels to support inventory planning and business growth.
Sales Data & Analytics: Analyze historical sales data, inventory trends, customer demand patterns, and market performance to provide actionable business insights and recommendations.
Sales Operations Management: Support day-to-day retail sales operations by improving reporting structures, operational workflows, communication processes, and overall team efficiency.
Strategic Sales Support: Partner closely with the Director of Sales to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with revenue goals, promotional initiatives, and retail growth opportunities.
Reporting & KPI Management: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting dashboards highlighting sales performance, forecasting accuracy, operational metrics, and business trends for leadership review.
Retail Channel Management: Serve as a key operational point of contact for the local retail sales channel/team to ensure alignment on priorities, customer support, and account execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service teams to support forecasting accuracy and successful program execution.
Inventory & Supply Coordination: Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to monitor inventory levels, mitigate supply risks, and align sales forecasts with operational capabilities.
Executive Communication: Regularly interface with the General Manager and senior leadership team by providing data-driven updates, operational insights, and strategic recommendations.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline sales operations, improve forecasting methodologies, and enhance overall organizational efficiency.
CRM & ERP Management: Utilize CRM, ERP (SAP), and reporting platforms to maintain accurate sales data, forecasting records, and operational reporting.
Leadership & Team Support: Provide operational guidance and support to the retail sales team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Travel: Travel as necessary for retail meetings, customer visits, business reviews, and industry events.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Retail Sales, Demand Planning, Forecasting, or related commercial operations roles.
Must speak Korean to interface with HQ
Prior experience within the cosmetics, beauty, skincare, or consumer packaged goods industry is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of retail sales processes, demand forecasting methodologies, inventory planning, and operational workflows.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and data analytics platforms.
Experience utilizing CRM, ERP, forecasting, and business intelligence systems.
Ability to analyze large data sets and translate insights into strategic business recommendations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively identify operational improvements and business opportunities.
Ability to effectively interface with senior leadership and provide executive-level reporting and presentations.
Proficient in administrative tasks and other assignments as needed.
