Key Responsibilities

• Conduct video counseling sessions with clients, offering support and guidance tailored to their individual needs.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to express their thoughts and feelings in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
• Identify and assess mental health issues through thoughtful questioning, active listening, and observational skills.
• Guide clients in defining their goals and developing actionable plans to achieve them, fostering growth and insight.
• Employ a solution-focused methodology, ensuring approaches are practical and centered on client empowerment.
• Collaborate with clients using effective therapeutic techniques while adhering to ethical and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will consist primarily of stable individuals experiencing low acuity emotional and mental health challenges. We meticulously screen all clients to ensure they align with your expertise and comfort level, allowing you to focus your efforts where they can have the greatest impact. With our ongoing supported referral system, you will have a steady stream of clients, reducing the burden of marketing and allowing you to concentrate on delivering quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An active and independent state license to practice as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPC.
• Demonstrated ability to make professional assessments, develop treatment plans, and execute actionable therapeutic strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a genuine empathetic nature, crucial for client rapport.
• Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in managing caseloads and handling client referrals in a remote setting.
• Background in working with diverse populations, adjusting therapeutic methodologies to fit various demographic needs.
• Familiarity with solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additionally, new team members will benefit from a substantial sign-on bonus, as well as the convenience of weekly direct deposit for timely salary disbursement.
