Interventional Radiologist

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Radiology. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, part-time, and flexible scheduling options available, including 7-on/7-off, staggered weeks, and other alternative scheduling models
  • Greater New Orleans region
  • 100% Interventional Radiology practice in a collegial, patient-focused, and growing environment
  • Broad and diverse case mix with a large interventional oncology practice, including liver-directed therapies, GU interventions, and lung interventions
  • Expanding clinical programs in venous disease, women's health, and endocrine interventions, with strong opportunities for practice development and subspecialty growth
  • Dedicated IR clinic infrastructure to support longitudinal patient care and build outpatient practice
  • Opportunity to perform a wide range of interventional procedures in support of multiple service lines across the health system
  • Academic appointments available through Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine
  • Night float call system designed to support work-life balance: call begins Friday evening and runs through the following Thursday evening; report at 3:00 p.m. until cases are completed or 7:00 p.m., with home call afterward until 7:00 a.m.; post-call mornings are protected, and daytime attendings are able to leave on time
  • Access to advanced imaging equipment, modern PACS and dictation systems, and IT support
